Le Renoncement

After 3 albums sung in English under the alias Memphis Electronic, Didier Balducci, guitarist and songwriter in XYZ, The Dum Dum Boys and NON!, releases his first album in French and under his real name, on the same day as a book also called 'Le Renoncement' ('The Renouncement').

The 12 song titles and lyrics come from the 12 chapters of the book ("Love", "Food", "Music", "Drugs", "Television", "Work", "Unemployment", etc.), backed by music with all his trademark sounds: fuzz guitar, analog synths, weird drum machines, space organ…
