Legendary London drummer Crispin “The Pump” Taylor releases his long-awaited debut album Licence to Fill on Monks Road Records, celebrating 35 years at the heart of the Soul, Funk, Rare Groove and Acid Jazz scenes.

A founder member of Push and former member of pioneering Acid Jazz outfit Galliano, Taylor has also toured and recorded with Zero 7, The Blow Monkeys, Dexys Midnight Runners, Seal, Paul Weller, The Funk Brothers, Marlena Shaw, Candi Staton, Carleen Anderson, Urban Species and many more.

Licence to Fill brings together original Funk, Soul and Jazz material, featuring acclaimed musicians including Mick Talbot, Angelo Starr, Joe Cang and Matt Deighton.
