having released two sought after 7"s on their own label, tiny dancers are building quite a following. their debut parlophone release was produced by john leckie, and the lead track '20 to 9' gives some indication of the scope of their musical ambition; epic but not pompous, catchy but complex, cleverly constructed but not contrived. the lighter, glockenspiel-led 'hemsworth hallway' follows, with its sweet yet gently mocking chorus; then there's the happy-sad sunny melancholia of 'russian snow'; the twisted country rock of 'sun goes down'; and finally the glorious sing-along stomp of 'going away'. limited 12" with a one sided 7".
