Double 25 Track LP Set mastered at Abbey Road. A selection of the main BBC recordings personally selected by Pretty Things founders Phil May and Dick Taylor. Sourced from the BBC archives, this set covers numerous songs from the 1960s and 1970s period - including smash hits such as 'Don't Bring Me Down' and 'Midnight To Six Man' and later classic album tracks 'Defecting Grey', 'S.F. Sorrow Is Born', 'Singapore Silk Torpedo' and 'Dream / Joey'. These sessions were recorded by the world renowned broadcasting organisation for radio and TV. It explores all the Pretty Things BBC Radio One output, including 1960s Top Gear, Saturday Club, the later Peel Sessions and Sounds Of The 70s, the BBC In Concert series and legendary TV shows such as the Old Grey Whistle Test, amongst others.
