Live At The Elmwood

Live at The Elmwood is Laura Matthews & The Flakes’ debut album, recorded live at The Elmwood Tennis Club in Kensal Green, London, on May 12th 2017. The songs are ones they regularly play at the club, at their monthly live music night ‘Lightening The Night’. At times songs of loss and redemption, they are also tongue in cheek and life affirming in their unique Country Crossover style. The album was mixed in Portobello’s West Eleven studios by Kevin Harris and produced by Laura Matthews and Pamela Goodheart Zarubica, who those in the know would recognise as the original Suzy Creamcheese.
