Live At The Lobby

On September 21st, 2001 Mic Christopher celebrated his last birthday with us. He rang in that birthday onstage at the Lobby Bar in Cork. This live album features an entire Mic gig and is a unique opportunity for people to feel what it was like to see him play.

Heyday is getting one million plays a year on Spotify alone and the vast majority of people who listen to his music never got to see him play. There are no less than five previously unreleased Mic songs on this album which is a huge treat for the many listeners who adore his Skylarkin album. They are "Opera Song," "Sassy," "Wide Open Room," "Doin' Better," and "When We Caught The Moon."

Glen Hansard is a special guest for the encores of the gig. The encores include songs by Bob Dylan and Michelle Shocked which Mic and Glen played together in their busking days.
