Live in Lisbon

Etran de L'Aïr, the stars of the desert, present an electric and raw recording of their live performances in Lisbon. Etran are a working band, playing regularly at home in Agadez, Niger. Stalwarts of the local wedding circuit, they are known for their marathon sets that stretch on for hours in the open air concerts of the desert. In 2025, the band journeyed to Lisbon for three opening sets for King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.

The sets were tight, rapid-fire interpretations of their improvisational pieces, at a pivotal moment in the band’s career, introducing themselves to an unfamiliar audience. Live in Lisbon highlights performances from across the three nights, a testament to the collective nature of the band, in their biggest “wedding” to date.
