Messe Pour le Temps Présent, Remixes and Fantaisie

Created in 1967 for Maurice Béjart’s visionary ballet, Messe pour le temps présent united Pierre Henry and Michel Colombier in an innovative fusion of electroacoustic music, orchestral writing and contemporary dance rhythms.

This anniversary edition celebrates a work widely regarded as a landmark in the evolution of electronic music, bringing together the original 1967 recording, remixes from Métamorphose (1997) and the previously unreleased Fantaisie Messe pour le temps présent (2013), presented in a deluxe gatefold package with new liner notes in French and English.
