With deep roots in Metalheadz, Benny L and Cleveland Watkiss join forces for the first time on Metaphors. It began as a completely unplanned moment during the Randall tribute at Sun and Bass in 2024, when Cleveland Watkiss improvised vocals over Benny L's set.

Instead of squeezing those vocals into an existing track, Benny L built something new around them. Following instinct, the track took shape through a chance synth glitch that became central to the composition, while the original recording was kept after the sound itself was lost.

The result, Metaphors, feels true to the way it started: spontaneous, soulful and atmospheric. It is a collaboration that makes perfect sense, bringing together two artists whose connection to the Metalheadz story runs deep.
