Music That You Can Dance To

Sparks' classic 1986 album Music That You Can Dance To is reissued in expanded and remastered form to celebrate its 40th anniversary. It was the duo's most synth-pop-leaning album since their critically acclaimed 1979 album No. 1 in Heaven, and featured songs both written and produced by the brothers.

Singles included Armies Of The Night, written for and featured in the cult horror film Fright Night; the electronic-driven Change; the double A-side cover of Stevie Wonder's Fingertips backed with the high-energy The Scene; and the title track, featured in the 1986 cult classic about BMX racing Rad.

The album has been remastered by longtime Sparks mastering engineer Bill Inglot and includes the original album plus 16 previously unreleased remixes, demos and alternate takes in the digital era. Bonus tracks include the unreleased demo How To Survive and an acoustic version of their 1974 No. 1 single This Town Ain't Big Enough For Both Of Us.
