absolutely devastating new heavyweight 2-track transmission from dj miles, precision cut for maximum bass-weight by berlin's dubplates and mastering and still struggling to cope with the sheer low-end pressure!!! the a-side "newanaloguecentury" rides on frayed dub chords and a padded kickdrum, eventually tumbling into a mass of delayed stabs and skittering hi-hats coming across like the bastard child of vainqueur, maurizio and t+ : beautifully f*cked up and unbelievably heavy! but it's "onestate" over on the flip that's been working our cartridges overtime these last few weeks, channelling one colossal, beautifully padded kickdrum into an arrangement of bass, drums and endless space, eventually acquiring an eerie synthline not too far removed from classic richard d james.
