New Brigade

Iceage's debut album, New Brigade, offers a raw, visceral glimpse into the angst and energy of Danish youth, capturing a sound that quickly became synonymous with a new wave of Copenhagen punk. Released in 2011 when the band members were barely out of their teens, the album is a ferocious, 24-minute blast of post-punk aggression and hardcore intensity.

New Brigade is characterized by its bleak atmosphere, sharp, driving rhythms, and Elias Bender Rønnenfelt's urgent, often guttural vocals.
