Charlie Haden has created some of his most profound successes in a series of duet albums on Verve (Steal Away with Hank Jones and Beyond the Missouri Sky with Pat Metheny have earned acclaim from critics and massive sales at retail). Haden and pianist Kenny Barron (each top award winners in 1997s' Down Beat Critics Poll) are featured on this live album, recorded at New York's Iridium.
