Nux Vomica

The Veils’ first three albums return to vinyl via Rough Trade Records: The Runaway Found (2004), Nux Vomica (2006) and 2009’s Sun Gangs.

Founded and led by teenage singer-songwriter Finn Andrews, the New Zealand band built a world of lush, romantic indie across these records, moving from cinematic sweep to close-up emotional intensity through gothic orchestration and atmospheric, driving rhythms.

Original vinyl editions were limited, released when the format was still commercially overlooked in the 2000s. These represses offer a fresh chance to hear The Runaway Found, Nux Vomica and Sun Gangs with the depth, fidelity and artwork they deserve.
