Suggs and Weller present "Ooh Do U Fink U R", a gloriously sunny, optimistic, and defiant Motown and ‘60’s R&B influenced stomper.

The song draws on their upbringing in Britain’s 1970’s comprehensive school system in London and Woking respectively. This picture disc is a Record Store Day 2023 exclusive, following the sold-out limited 7” release from June ’22.

The collaboration between Suggs and Weller, who have known each other on-and-off for the last four decades, began to take shape in 2019 during Weller's appearance on Suggs' Radio Four series ‘Love Letters To London’ where they discussed an ever-changing Soho.

During the lockdown in 2020, the pair started exchanging ideas more frequently about music, clothes, and football. This led to the creation of "Ooh Do U Fink U R", with both artists sharing half-finished songs, demos, and sketches of lyrics.

The song features a working-class aesthetic, Motown-influenced stomp, and uplifting brass, making it a welcome addition to both men’s great songbooks.
