The Dead legacy has spawned a plethora of side projects. Jerry Garcia and Merl Saunders aka The Legion of Mary recorded this majestic live at the Oriental Theatre in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on 4/19/1975. Sponsored and broadcasted by WZMF-FM from Menomonee Falls, WI. The Legion of Mary was a short-lived iteration of the Garcia and Saunders band, playing only 60 concerts between late 1974 and 1975. The band also featured John Kahn (Bass), Ron Tutt (Drums) and Martin Fierro (Saxophone).
