Blind Channel return with Painstream, their sixth studio album, and it feels like their most open, focused and ambitious record yet. Across 12 tracks, the Finnish modern metal chart-topper turns growth, self-reflection and raw energy into something personal but easy to connect with.

The title began as a blend of “Pain” and “Mainstream”, then grew into the record’s central idea: pain is one thing we all share. Blind Channel explore it from personal, societal and existential angles, finding hope and unity in the middle of uncertainty and division.

Made after a period of creative soul-searching, Painstream puts truth before expectation. Highlights include Diana, No Encores in a Swan Song, Stars We See, Into The Void featuring Aaron Pauley, and Messiah. Massive riffs and cinematic production make this sound like five voices moving as one.
