Just before the pandemic, as political tensions in Venezuela intensified, Joudy left for NYC and re-formed the band in Brooklyn. Since then, they’ve channeled grief and struggle into music, building some of the heaviest grunge sounds heard in decades.
They’ve also stayed closely connected to home, supporting Venezuela through its ongoing hardships, most recently in the aftermath of the earthquakes, by raising awareness and funds through benefit efforts.
Their new album brings together years of emotion, upheaval, and new beginnings. Sonically, the album is meticulously produced, with every strum landing loud and clear. The band’s raw, gritty tone feels fully their own, drawing listeners in from the first note.
