switzerland's sampladelic rock trio the young gods first burst out in the late 80's, inspiring near religious fervour in fans and journalists alike. alas, back then the world wasn't ready for their hyperkinetic blend of riffing rock n roll, baroque-futurist samples and messianic vocals. following a flurry of activity the past couple of years - including the release of a very well received 'best of' compilation and a new album - 2008 sees the reissue of 5 of their classic albums at a budget price.
