This record tells of the lives and loves of acclaimed and pioneering food writer MFK Fisher. John Updike declared her the “poet of the appetites”; WH Auden thought her the greatest prose writer in America. Extradition Order deliver an exciting mix of angular post funk and northern soul rock n roll, topped by brass and strings, and unisex lead vocals from Alastair Harper, Anoushka Kenley, Radhika Aggarwal and Rosie Beard. This album is their first since the death of former bassist Nick Boardman.
