Devo's debut Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are Devo! still sounds brilliantly wrong-footed and right on time. Once misunderstood, it now sits at No. 252 in Rolling Stone's Greatest Albums list and among Pitchfork's 100 best albums of the 1970s.

This Mobile Fidelity numbered-edition 180g 45RPM 2LP is sourced from the original master tapes, pressed at Fidelity Record Pressing in California, and housed in a Stoughton gatefold jacket. The first-ever 45RPM version brings greater definition, quieter surfaces, deeper backgrounds, and a bigger sense of space.

Produced by Brian Eno, the 1978 set throws keyboards, percussion, voices, and jagged rhythms into vivid relief. Mark Mothersbaugh and the Ohio group sharpened their devolution theory into songs like Uncontrollable Urge, Mongoloid, Jocko Homo, Come Back Jonee, and a deconstructed take on (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction.
