On The Rise: ARXX
Rough Trade tip packed with infectious pop nuggets. Queer alt-rock Brighton duo Arxx release their debut album Ride Or Die. Produced by long-term collaborator Steve Ansell (Blood Red Shoes), and mastered by Katie Tavini (Arlo Parks), the album is an infectious package of bittersweet emotions, teeming with sparkling, uplifting synths, unapologetic bass licks and soaring vocals designed to envelop the listener in a empathetic blanket of cathartic-yet-ambivalent post-heartbreak warmth. For fans of Peaness, Big Moon, Charli XCX and Haim.
