As the inaugural collaboration between veteran soul singer Bobby Harden and Dala Records founder Billy Aukstik, "Runnin'" utilizes the expertise of the Dala house band, The Soulful Saints, and Bobby’s natural soul vocals to create a sound harkening back to the days of Motown while still leaving room for a modern touch. Flush with strings, heavy horns and a driving northern soul backbeat, "Runnin’" sounds familiar but is certainly something new. Recorded to 16 tracks on 1" analog tape at Hive Mind Recording in Brooklyn, NY and mixed down to Stereo on the A side and Mono on the B side, this 45 hits hard off the needle and is sure to move feet out on the dance floor.
