Released in August 2006, Lamb of God’s fourth studio album Sacrament arrived as the follow-up to Ashes of the Wake and marked a major step forward for the band.

It includes Redneck, Walk With Me In Hell, and Again We Rise, balancing precision, weight, and melodic hooks without losing the intensity that made Lamb of God such a defining force in modern metal.

Redneck also earned the band its first Grammy nomination, giving Sacrament an important place in the group’s catalogue and in 2000s heavy music more broadly.
