Hank Wangford has always had a love and fascination for the waltz and its unique circular spinning rhythm. In England, when the Waltz first arrived, it was condemned as scandalously wicked, filthy, and dangerous. Interestingly, Hank was born in a Nazi-owned stately home right next to the ballroom where the Waltz was initially danced in Regency society.

Hank argues that the Waltz is the distinguishing factor between Rock 'n Roll and Country music. While Country music is filled with waltzes and its saddest songs are often in 3/4 time, Rock music rarely features waltzes. Hank cherishes the Waltz and the melancholy songs of Country music. By combining the two, a double album of Waltzes emerges as the only solution.
