The November 26, 1983, Genesis concert at the Spectrum in Philadelphia stands as one of the most celebrated performances of the band's Mama tour. This show was the middle night of three consecutive concerts at the venue, taking place on November 25th, 26th, and 27th. The Mama tour supported Genesis' self-titled thirteenth album and ultimately comprised seventy-three shows across the United States and Canada, beginning on November 6th in Normal, Illinois, before concluding with five dates in Birmingham, England in late February 1984.
