Speedy Wunderground Vol. 6 Compilation

Beloved south London-based record label Speedy Wunderground release the 6th instalment in their annual compilation series. Spotlighting selected single releases that chronicle the label's output across 2022-2023. Featuring on the new edition are Dutch post-punks Lewsberg, vaunted English songwriter Jane Weaver, The Queen's Head, Australian goth-poppers HighSchool, experimental rock pair O. - who released acclaimed debut album WeirdOs on Speedy Wunderground earlier this year - newly-anointed Mercury Music Prize nominees English Teacher, psych-punks Hot Face and songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Tummyache. Every song captures a snapshot in time from these artists, each recorded in a single day as per the famed Speedy Wunderground studio rules. Vol. 6 makes for another exciting showcase of the many different directions the label continues to push itself in, at the vanguard of what's new and bubbling in the underground.
