Spring Awakening (Original Cast Recording) (20th Anniversary Edition)

For its 20th anniversary, the original cast recording of Spring Awakening is available on vinyl for the first time. A groundbreaking fusion of morality, sexuality and rock and roll, it won eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and launched the careers of stars Lea Michele and Jonathan Groff.

Produced in collaboration with creators Steven Sater and Duncan Sheik, this Twentieth Anniversary Edition pairs the original cast album, newly mastered for vinyl by Ryan K. Smith at Sterling Sound, with two unheard archival recordings long sought after by fans.

Also included are All Begin to Call, a 2000 duet between Lea Michele and the late Gavin Creel, and As Shadows Do, featuring Lauren Prichard, plus a 24-page booklet with rare photos, essays, lyrics and a new oral history with the original cast and creative team.
