Sugar, Daddy

Sugar, Daddy is the debut mini-album from critically-acclaimed South London noise-punk duo Scrounge, stalwarts of the city's experimental DIY scene for a little while now. Its eight intense tracks are tightly-wound bursts of machine-gun percussion, disintegrating drum machines and corkscrewing guitars, topped off by vocalist Lucy Alexander's alternately snarling and soulful delivery. "It's a love letter to the scene," says drummer Luke Cartledge. "A love letter to our mates."
