Lucifer’s Friend's Sumogrip has been unavailable for nearly 20 years. Remastered from the original tapes, this album is the band’s only release in the 35 years that elapsed between Mean Machine and their reformation in 2015.
Featuring original founding members John Lawton (also of Uriah Heep) and Peter Hesslein, along with Jogi Wichmann and Alexander Dicke, Sumogrip includes re-recordings of the band’s best-known hit, ‘Ride The Sky’, along with Uriah Heep’s hit ‘Free Me’.
