Sun Gangs

The Veils’ first three albums return to vinyl via Rough Trade Records: The Runaway Found (2004), Nux Vomica (2006) and Sun Gangs (2009).

Founded and fronted by Finn Andrews while still a teenager, the band shaped a sound that felt lush, romantic and emotionally direct, moving from cinematic sweep to intimate corners through gothic orchestration and driving rhythms.

These records only had limited vinyl runs first time around, when the format was far less visible than it is now. This repress gives listeners a fresh chance to hear them with the depth, fidelity and artwork they deserve.

As Finn Andrews puts it: “It is a sincere joy to see these records that are so important to us and to so many others reissued on vinyl by the label that nurtured us right from the start.”
