Supermigration

Eighties sci-fi fetishists will thrill to the strains of Solar Bears' 'Supermigration', the second album from the Irish production duo of John Kowalski and Rian Trench. The retro-futurist pair are now transmitting on Planet Mu, after their Vangelis and Giorgio Moroder-inspired debut, 'She Was Coloured In', earned plaudits in 2010. The duo stake out some great new territory on the full-length, adding jazzy west coast soul and Stereolab-ish pop to their already colourful armoury of sounds.
