Double A 7" Limited coloured vinyl (mint green opaque) with hand folded sleeves made by the band themselves. Bivouac are back! Formed in the early 1990s, they enjoyed success first with John Peel and then by topping the UK indie charts with a run of EPs and a debut album on Alternative Tentacles offshoot Elemental Records, before signing to Geffen for the release of their second long player, 'Full Size Boy'. They're recognised as influencing many bands since with their British take on the slacker rock sound made popular by Dinosaur Jr and Buffalo Tom. Now they are back together after a chance mention of the band in Stewart Lee's Guardian column in Autumn 2015. This double A single is the band's first in two decades and features a brand new song, 'Sweet Heart Deal', written during rehearsals for live dates in Summer 2016, and a re-working of a previously unreleased track from the band's first incarnation, 'Deep Blue Sea Surround'. It is the first release through new independent label Reckless Yes and is limited to 250 copies on mint green 7" vinyl, each in an origami sleeve, hand folded by the band themselves.
