The Angel and The Dark River

The Angel and the Dark River is the third studio album by English doom metal band My Dying Bride. For the first time in the band's history, guitar player Andrew Craighan was the sole composer of a My Dying Bride record, which was considered “strange” to the guitarist.

Influenced by acts such as Celtic Frost and Candlemass, the band's heavy atmospherics have carved a huge worldwide following over the years to stand at the pinnacle of the genre and remain one of the most instantly distinguishable metal bands.
