Soulful, powerfully spiritual jazz on the second album by uroboro, plus poetry from Keith Jafrate, featuring a cast drawn from the finest Discus Music musicians. The music is slow moving, melodic, and firmly grounded in the bass in a way which pulls the listener in and makes time stand still. As with all the band's music, keith's compositions are only the start, and the musicians complete them through improvisation. somehow, they create a sense of the pieces coming into being as they are played, perfectly formed, with nothing tentative or uncertain about them.
