Punk Royalty Brian James - founder of The Damned - The first punk band to release a single, the Brian James penned "New Rose", the first punk band to release an album, predominantly written by James ("Damned Damned Damned"), the first punk band to play America and the first punk band to split (with James walking out in early 1978).

James later went on to have success with ex Dead Boys singer Stiv Bator in the Lords of the New Church presents his fourth solo album and the most rock n roll of the lot! With guest appearances from ex Dead Boy, Cheetah Chrome and Lustkillers vocalist Adam Becvare. Comes with fabulous artwork by horror film poster designer Graham Humphries (Friday 13th, Evil Dead, Nightmare on Elm St) who also painted covers for the first two Lords of the New Church albums plus the Rockers album. Recorded at Brighton’s infamous Studio 284 over several months in 2014 the album will be toured with some dates tbc in the U.S.
