The House That Man Built was originally recorded and mixed at Southern Studios, London in 1981 and released in 1982 on Crass Records. Engineered by John Loder under the watchful eye of Penny Rimbaud.

Side A features the single fully remixed and mastered by Gav King who spent the last 18 years playing guitar for Conflict.

Side B has the tracks remastered by Sid Truelove from the original mix tapes

Primal basic and raw as fuck, these early Conflict tracks are the sound of the band getting to know their instruments, revelling in the freedom and expression of their sound.

Conflict wasted no time stating their intent as the opening song, 'Conflict' charged into life with a razor wire guitar strike with Jerwood bellowing 'CONFLICT!' as the band revved into life.
