The Transit Rider

Twenty years after its CD release, The Transit Rider finally pulls into the vinyl depot. First realized as a musical theatre piece and further developed live prior to recording, The Transit Rider amplifies Faun Fables’ bristly performance presence and electroacoustic wash of Anglo-European folk sounds, from traditional to Kurt Weill to folk-rock. Spread over four sides, with revamped artwork and previously unseen photos from the original stage show, the hour-long commute comes alive in a medley of larger-than-life moments in song.
