Following the success of The Way We Were Vol. 1 and the acclaimed The Accidental, Francis Rossi opens his private archive again for The Way We Were Vol. 2.

Like the first volume, these intimate original recordings trace songs that would later become Status Quo favourites or Francis Rossi solo tracks. It is a rare chance to hear them in their earliest form, before production and further contributions shaped the final versions.

There is plenty here for longtime fans to get into, from raw rock energy to more reflective acoustic moments. As ever, it all comes back to Rossi's songwriting craft and a deep-rooted love of rock ’n’ roll.
