Originally released on January 1, 2020 as a digital-only single to welcome the New Year, the track arrived at a moment when the world was just beginning to emerge from the grip of the pandemic. It was later followed by a limited EU-only 7-inch pressing in March 2020, which has since become highly sought after on the secondary market.

Now, driven by a resurgence in popularity—sparked by the official music video on YouTube amassing over 9 million views and counting—the single returns in a brand-new pressing. This edition features a printed sleeve with the original artwork and is limited to just 500 copies. 

The track itself is a full-band reimagining of the song that originally closed their 2018 album Golden Days, where it appeared in a stripped-back piano and vocal arrangement. In its fuller form, the song radiates hope, joy, and the euphoria of new beginnings—capturing a sense of optimism, opportunity, and the anticipation of brighter days ahead. These themes are emblematic of Mamas Gun's sound and spirit.
