Tim Rose

Tim Rose is one of those mythical legends of rock whose work is widely discussed, but rarely heard, by audiophiles with historical interest in the development of the folk-rock genre. "Tim Rose", his first album, contains his best known works, "Morning Dew" covered by Nazareth and the Allman brothers, among others, and "Hey Joe" recorded by the Leaves, Jimi Hendrix, Love, and the Byrds, among so many. In each case, Rose's arrangement was the inspiration for the cover versions despite the fact that he didn't actually pen any of these songs, although he did claim co-writing credit on "Morning Dew."
