Cajita is Jay Chakravorty, a half-Indian, half-Irish/English, multi-instrumentalist songwriter and producer. He began life in Bristol, before moving to London in 2011. His music combines elements of ambient electronica, orchestral minimalism and acoustic songwriting, drawing comparisons with artists such as Sufjan Stevens, Efterklang, and King Creosote & Jon Hopkins.
