The title of Bwani Junction's second album Tongue of Bombie was lifted from the name of a farm spotted by the lads en-route to their set at Wickerman Festival - though its true origins undoubtedly have an unspeakably ruder explanation!
Produced by legendary Paul Savage at the hallowed Chem 19 studio in Blantyre, this is an album that sees a growing maturity from a band still amazingly all in their early twenties. With more intelligent lyrics about love and loss, the songs all feature duelling guitars over a muscular rhythm section.
However, this is a much darker and heavier offering than its predecessor Fully Cocked.
