Johnny Hallyday was the undisputed hero of the French music scene for over five decades. Credited for bringing rock’n’roll to France in the late 1950s, he sold more than 110 million records worldwide, mainly in the French-speaking world, making him one of the best-selling artists in France and in the world. He won 5 diamond albums, 40 golden albums, and 22 platinum albums. His spectacular shows (he sometimes arrived on stage by jumping from a helicopter) were record-breaking performances in terms of ticket sales. This is a reissue of his famous Live album at the Stade de France in 2009.
