Back in stock and cheaper as part of an LTM label July 2008 campaign. LTM presents a new volume in the ongoing compilation series Auteur Labels, here profiling cult Brussels imprint Les Disques du Crépuscule. Crépuscule ('twilight') was founded in 1980 by Michel Duval and Annik Honor with the release of the epochal cassette From Brussels with Love (TWI 007).
The chic, cosmopolitan label went on to assemble an extensive cross-genre catalogue, much of it dressed by celebrated designer Benoît Hennebert. Associated labels included Factory Benelux, Operation Twilight, and Another Side.
The 72-minute, remastered CD covers the years 1980-1984 and features a detailed label history by Frank Brinkhuis, together with interviews and archive images. It includes cuts from Josef K, Marine, Thick Pigeon, Michael Nyman, Names, Durutti Column, Pale Fountains, Devine, and Statton etc.
