uk pressing of this album from the canadian band including two bonus tracks: 'the kids are ultra violent' and 'early in the morning. the album was recorded by tony doogan (mogwai / belle and sebastian / explosions in the sky) at glasgow's castle of doom. on 'welcome to the night sky' you can hear bits of early 90's grunge, the sweeping guitar parts of explosions in the sky, the atmospheric touch of sigur ros, the wonderful disarray of dismemberment plan, and the angular stop-start structure of braid.
