When Stars Collide

XION arrive with their second album, When Stars Collide, landing 11 September via Fireflash Records. Their take on speed and thrash metal feels sharp and distinctive, driven by real precision, serious energy and the kind of hunger that makes a young band instantly worth your time.

Formed in 2022, while some members were still under 18, the Falun quintet were already playing with the control and force of far more seasoned acts. That mix of youth and virtuosity has quickly made XION one of the most exciting new names in Swedish metal.

They also come from strong stock: Falun has produced SABATON, BROTHERS OF METAL and TWILIGHT FORCE. XION clearly belong in that conversation, while bringing their own fast, focused identity to the scene.
