Gil Scott-Heron and keyboardist Brian Jackson released Winter In America in 1974, their 5th studio album. They produced the album in a stripped-down fashion, relying on traditional African and R&B sounds. The subject matter deals with the African-American community and inner city in the 1970s.

This deluxe package includes an OBI side strip, original album, printed inner sleeve, original record labels, and specialty color vinyl.
