Woodstock 99

Peace, love and rage. Woodstock '99 took place in Rome, New York, from July 22 to July 25, 1999, and went down as one of the craziest events in recent music history. The festival was marred by difficult environmental conditions, overpriced food and water, poor sanitation, sexual harassment, rioting, looting, vandalism, arson, violence, leading to media attention and controversy that vastly overshadowed coverage of the musical performances. In honour of its 25-year anniversary, let's listen to some of the incendiary tracks of the time, namely those of Korn, The Offspring, Kid Rock, Limp Bizkit, Metallica, Rage Against The Machine, Creed, Sevendust, Godsmack and Megadeth.
