Dubplate Archive raids the RSD record boxes for a set of exclusive dubplates previously only heard in RSD deejay sets. For this second RSD album, the crew were given access to the RSD masters archive again and pulled together Worldwide Dub.
The title fits: these tracks were recorded thousands of miles apart in studios across the Bristol region and Japan, originally between 2005 and 2016, with one track revisited in 2024. Different sessions, shared DNA, and a properly coherent dub journey from the RSD vaults.
Trample first appeared as the B-side of a scarce 2008 white label 12". Firewall Revisited and Depend Revisited rework two 2009 Punch Drunk CD-only cuts from Good Energy (A Singles Collection), made after Rob switched from Cubase to Ableton. What Must I Do and Rio Conchos were early Dubkast Myspace uploads; Cold Comfort came from a dreamed bassline in snowbound Kyoto. Accepted and On Deck come from a scarce 2009 12", with On Deck based on a local sea shanty.
